Santa Barbara's beautiful East Beach is one block from the Old Yacht Club Inn. East Beach offers a large area for dining, sunning, beach volleyball, and swimming. East Beach is rated one of the world's ten best beaches (L.A. Times, August 1992) and is clean and safe for swimming. The bike/walkway along the beach and is a great place to run, walk, or bike for several miles. Bike rentals, beach chairs and beach towels are provided for guest use.

The Inn opened in 1980 as Santa Barbara's first bed and breakfast and is housed in two historic homes. Both homes are comfortably furnished with antiques, Oriental rugs, colorful fabrics and wallpapers that capture the warm hospitality of our trademark.

The original house is a California Craftsman built in 1912 as a family vacation home and was utilized as the Santa Barbara Yacht Club during the roaring 1920's. It's the only bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara with a beach location.

The Main House offers one downstairs bedroom with private deck and four bedrooms upstairs, two with balconies. The Hitchcock House offers ground level guest rooms with private entrances and two extra large suites.
