Elite Cyling Event Rolls through the Wine Country

Some of the top riders in the cycling world will be rolling through the Santa Barbara County wine country on Saturday, February 25 during Stage 6 of the inaugural Tour of California cycling race.

This 89.5 mile leg of the race begins in Santa Barbara and finishes in Thousand Oaks, home of sponsor Amgen's corporate campus.

This shorter stage (Stage Six) with a hilly profile from Santa Barbara to Thousand Oaks features four KOM climbs in the 80 miles that precede three laps of a three-mile circuit in Thousand Oaks that will cover the stage's final ten miles before finishing at title sponsor Amgen's corporate campus.
